Summary
War Reparations were established in order for Germany to pay off all the damage they caused. It was an unreal amount of money which would never be able to be paid off. When Germany couldn't pay the reparations, resources were freely taken from them until they kept paying. France wanted the most reparations, Britain was on board with it, and USA did not think it was a good idea.
Quotes
"Mr. Wilson bores me with his Fourteen Points; why, God Almighty has only Ten!" - Georges Clemenceau (shows how much more forceful he is)
Subjunctive Questions
If reparations weren't placed on Germany, would of they tried to rebuild their army? Or would they use the money for other, more peaceful things?
