Summary
Vladimir Lenin was one of the three main Bolshevik leaders. After forming a counter-revolutionary committee, and won; he: redistributed the land, nationalized all banks, private accounts were confiscated (communists did not like) foreign trade became state monopoly, and he made all opposition groups illegal. This made it almost impossible to compete with him.
