Summary
French was scared of another German attack, so they came up with defensive strategy. So they built a wall (Maginot Line)to split Germany and France thinking it would stop another German attack. Germany still attacked (french didn't think they would) Germany went around (through the forest), captured Paris, and cornered the French on their on wall.
